If you’re into research or evidence-based social work practice, you may be interested in the ClinicalTrials.gov web site. This site allows you to access information related to clinical studies on a wide range of diseases and conditions. The site claims to have approx. 29,500 studies sponsored by federal agencies and private business. Database entries include studies from all 50 of the United States and 130 countries. To get an idea of what’s available, you can peruse the listings in the Behaviors and Mental Disorders category. Or look over the types of diseases included in the database. You can also sort your results by recruitment status. This is a fascinating database, and I hope you’ll check it out!
